I don't manage to rank my homepage
I am trying to rank my homepage on the product name "Rubbee" in Switzerland https://bit.ly/2S004lL, I have .ch domain and it the homepage appears nowhere in the 1 st 20 pages in Switzerland... whereas a website like this one https://bit.ly/2RYCCVT with zero text appears on the 13 th page.
For your info when I put the website online over 2 years ago... my homepage was ranking on the 1 st page but since I created a blog page https://bit.ly/2UnL2aX, the blog page took over and it is now impossible to rank the homepage.

Hi There,
There are a few reasons if you want to rank for the term Rubbee
1. Meta title
This is set as: "Le Meilleur Kit Vélo Électrique du Marché | Rubbee"
It should be: "Rubbee - Le Meilleur Kit Vélo Électrique du Marché"
So move the primary keyword to the front on its own.
2. Meta Description
This is not a rankling factor on it's own but keywords will bold and a good description can increase a higher click through rate (CTR) which is a ranking factor
Include the term Rubbee in this as well.
"Turn your bike into an electric bike today with Rubbee - Ready to pre-order now from just E599 with free delivery and guaranteed.............."
Something like this a strong call to action.
3. Alt Tag
You have many and this is OK - make sure you alt them all.
4. H1
make this a close variant of the primary keyword. It is Rubbee - make it "Rubbee - Kit Vélo Électrique"
4. NAPS
Add address, as well as phone number and email - maybe company number
5. Content
You only have this on your home page.
"Rubbee est une assistance électrique pour n’importe quel vélo standard. Sans ajouter un seul fil, ce kit électrique vous permettra de transformer votre vélo classique en un vélo électrique en seulement quelques minutes. Dans sa version la plus puissante, le moteur électrique vous permet d’atteindre la vitesse maximum de 32 km/h pour une autonomie minimum de 48 km. Avec un prix compris entre 599 CHF et 797 CHF, Rubbee est à un tarif défiant toute concurrence."
Make AT LEAST 300 words of content describing what Rubbee is and what it does.
6. Hreflang
One of the main reasons I can see is that there is no hreflang tags on the page.
There is :rubbee.co.uk
No doubt there are other international websites as well. the problem here is that Google doesn't know which site belongs to each country despite the .co.uk and .ch TLDs.
each site should have Hreflang tags to specify the language and the country.
so read here:
https://mza.seotoolninja.com/learn/seo/hreflang-tag
and here:
https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/189077?hl=en
You need to pick a default and then specify each country's version of the website. Then add the hreflangs to every page where there is an equivalent.
The blog may be original content so that may be why it is ranking.
So in summary:
Add standard SEO enhancements on a one page one theme basis.
and, sort the Hreflang tags.7. Sitemap
There does not appear to be a sitemap - use Yoast to add one.
So lots of basic reasons why it is not ranking well.
I hope that helps
Nigel

Internal link from blog content to commercial pages risks?
Hi guys, Has anyone seen cases where a site has been impacted negatively from internal linking from blog content to commercial based pages (e.g. category pages). Anchor text is natural and the links improve user experience (i.e it makes sense to add them, they're not forced). Cheers.

How does Googlebot evaluate performance/page speed on Isomorphic/Single Page Applications?
I'm curious how Google evaluates pagespeed for SPAs. Initial payloads are inherently large (resulting in 5+ second load times), but subsequent requests are lightning fast, as these requests are handled by JS fetching data from the backend. Does Google evaluate pages on a URL-by-URL basis, looking at the initial payload (and "slow"-ish load time) for each? Or do they load the initial JS+HTML and then continue to crawl from there? Another way of putting it: is Googlebot essentially "refreshing" for each page and therefore associating each URL with a higher load time? Or will pages that are crawled after the initial payload benefit from the speedier load time? Any insight (or speculation) would be much appreciated.

After adding a ssl certificate to my site I encountered problems with duplicate pages and page titles
Hey everyone! After adding a ssl certificate to my site it seems that every page on my site has duplicated it's self. I think that is because it has combined the www.domainname.com and domainname.com. I would really hate to add a rel canonical to every page to solve this issue. I am sure there is another way but I am not sure how to do it. Has anyone else ran into this problem and if so how did you solve it? Thanks and any and all ideas are very appreciated.

SEO for interior page
Is it possible to be penalized on an interior page but not the whole website? Here's why I ask, I have a page: www.thesandiegocriminallawyer.com/domestic-violence.html that is not ranking well (p. 21 of Google) while the rest of the site ranks well (b/w p.1 to p.3). I checked the link profile in opensiteexplorer, ahrefs, and majesticseo but can't find any problems. I have also checked the HTML code, CSS, keyword optimization, but can't find any problems there either. Can anyone give me insight into why this might be happening? Of course, I'm working under the assumption that this page SHOULD be ranked higher for "San Diego Domestic Violence Attorney" - at least higher than page 21.

On Page vs Off Page - Which Has a Greater Effect on Rankings?
Hi Mozzers, My site will be migrating to a new domain soon, and I am not sure how to spend my time. Should I be optimizing our content for keywords, improving internal linking, and writing new content - or should I be doing link building for our current domain (or the new one)? Is there a certain ratio that determines rankings which can help me prioritize these to-dos?, such as 70:30 in favor of link-building? Thanks for any help you can offer!

Where is the best place for Landing Pages to reside on the Home Page?
On this site http://www.austintenantadvisors.com/ I have my main landing pages listed in the navigation under "Types". The reason why I did this is because I am not sure where to insert those on the home page where it does not look spammy to Google and looks natural for users. Obviously they need to appear somewhere on the home page for Google to be able to continue crawling and indexing them. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
