Google plus, Twitter and Facebook link - does it help?
-
Hello,
I was wondering, does it help if I publish a link to a new page on my website on my Facebook-, Google + and Twitter-Account - even if noone reposts it?
Thanks
Polyniki

Yes, do it. It helps twofold.
First: pages linked to in twitter were almost instantly crawled and indexed. Secondly: Twitter / FB Shares and G+ all create links, thus generating a little buzz signaling google that your site is still active.
Just ask a few friends to share the links / retweet now and then. Especially FB shares are more valuable then likes. I am pretty sure, that these signals will help a lot in the near future. Esp. Bing uses FB data already.

Couldn't hurt - especially if you have a lot of fans/followers.

Google+ for Business
Google+ has thrown a bit of a monkey wrench into my SEO plans. Over the last few weeks, Google+ listings started showing up in the SERPs for my money keywords. The good news is that once we launch our new site, we have a good chance of getting into the Google+ 7 packs. The bad news is that SEO on a national level just got tougher with the local Google+ listings crowding natural listings down the page. Questions: 1. How does Google+ determine who goes into the 7 pack?

2. Is there always a 7 Pack? Can there only be a 4 pack?
3. I see Google+ listings for companies that don't have a Google+ page. How is that possible?
4. Through my keyword research, I have about 20 keywords that are triggering Google+ listings in the SERPs. Some SERPs are only showing 2-4 G+ listings. Is it safe to assume that this is because no one has put those keywords in their Google+ description, and hasn't optimized for those words on their site?0 -
Problems with Google Analytics social tracking
Hi folks, Any GA experts out there available to help with a social tracking problem we've got? In short a client is using a ShareThis plugin, but the data we're seeing in GA doesn't correlate at all with the share counts showing on the plugin. Huge discrepancies in fact. Could do with someone taking a look at the page and seeing what part of the tracking code we need to update/fix. We'll make it worth your while. Please PM me if you can help. Thanks! Matt.

Help with Brands Facebook page
Hi Guys I desperately need help on this one.......I have taken over the management of a Brand's facebook page and have some concerns as to how it was setup. The account was opened by an individual that has a personal account but they did not open the brands page from their personal account...instead they used a slightly different email address and opened a new page business account. I am not able to comment on any comments on this account and i am assuming it was as a result that there is no "profile" (not sure). Should i go ahead and create the profile with the details of someone at the brand? or how should i proceed to rectify this......am i not able to comment as a result of not having a profile?? help! UpDate: The comment issue has been resolved and it seemed to be browser / firewall related...never happened before...very strange
