Can I replicate my 300 keywords among campaigns
-
I've nearly set up three of my 5 campaigns so far and have found the populating the keywords is very time consuming. Is there a way for, say, Campaign #2 to use the same keywords as Campaign #1 without populating the new campaign manually? After all, the only reason I am setting up this second (and beyond) campaigns is because I want to compare the same keywords against additional competitors.
Also, I was mid-way through setting up this third campaign when I ran out of keywords because I only get 300 per account? Is this correct? That is fine if I can replicate the same set of keywords per account, but it appears to have tallied each list of keywords, in each of my 3 campaigns, at 300 and I ran out before finishing this third campaign. I'll work with whatever the number is, but it seems strange that there isn't an option to have a single set of 300 keywords applied to each campaign that you set up.
Am I misunderstanding something? Looking for help ...

The easiest way I can think of is to go into the rankings section in a campaign for which you have already added all the keywords then export the rankings report as a CSV. Once you open the CSV in Excel or similar you can copy the keywords column and paste them in bulk into the "manage keywords" section for your new campaign.
Sadly the total keyword limit is 300 for the Pro account - it is restrictive, but on the other hand you can look at it as an opportunity to prioritise your keywords and make sure you are monitoring the most important ones.

Bye Bye Keyword Difficulty Tool :(
So the Keyword Difficulty Tool will be retired from the end of this month. Is anyone else worried about this? - because I just don't trust the numbers coming back from Keyword Explorer. Never have. I've even raised this with Moz staff previously, when there was a huge difference between the score given by the keyword difficulty tool vs keyword explorer. From what I see in Domain and Page authority and in the SERPs then the score from keyword difficulty tool, was always more accurate, and thankfully have been able to use both tools, but from next month I feel somewhat uneasy about solely relying on the score from Keyword Explorer. Thoughts? and feel free to run your own tests on keywords and I'm sure you'll see what I mean.

Which keyword for title
I'm trying to figure out what to use for my title text. It's for a structural steel fabrication company. Adwords has the average monthly searches for "structural steel" and "steel fabrication" identical at 5,400. It has "structural steel fabrication" at 390 which I get that since its longer and a little more specific will have less searches. My question is if I make the title "structural steel fabrication" does google just see it as 1 big keyword or will it rank for "structural steel" and/or "steel fabrication"? What would any of you go with here? All 3 keyword strings make sense for the person seeing the title. Thanks for any advice you can give, Clay

Competitive keyword ranking
Hi, I'm checking the SEOMoz keyword rankings report. I've set about 30 keywords and it's awesome to see how they rank and how many times they were clicked. However it would be interesting to see whether the keywords that I entered are competitive or not. It's not worth putting a lot of energy in making non competitive words rank higher I guess. So my question is: is it possible to see whether or not ranked keywords are competitive or not? Thanks!

Measuring ROI pre-campaign
I have a potential client who wants to know what ROI would be on a SEO campaign as opposed to Adwords. Their budget for Adwords is $20.00 per day. So I want to get this down to around $10.00-$15.00 I've had a look through their market in adwords and there seems to enough low/medium results which aren't being targeted by others in the niche for organic search. Obviously I can't guarantee people will click on their links when we get to first page but wondering if there is any sort of standard to make it tangible in the first instance? Any help appreciated.

Keywords and On-Page Optimization
Hi i have quite a few keywords i want to rank for which are: how to lose 10 pounds fast how to lose 100 pounds how to lose ten pounds how to lose 30 pounds I can either make separate pages for each of these keywords, but i would prefer to create a single page since most of the content would be very similar, plus i don't think Google would like the fact i'm 'targeting' these keywords individually. Anyway if i do decided to create a single page for all these keywords, what advice do you have? For the URL i'm going to have the keyword 'how to lose weight' or 'how to lose pounds', something generic. Then i'm going to have content which pretty much answers each search query. Now i guess the negative is the fact, i can't optimize the page for each keyword (e.g. keyword in URL, title, or on the actual page itself) So my question how would you approach this issue? How do i tell google (besides backlinking, i will be including these keywords in anchor text) my page is about how to lose 30 pounds or how to lose 100 pounds, when i'm not doing anyway on-page optimization for the keywords individually. Regards, Chris
