Any other way to calculate commercial intent?

...besides the MS AdLab tool (which seems to always be down)?

What I am looking for is a measure of the desire to transact business that a given keyword reflects. So I want to know whether people are searching for information or to find a place to buy my product.

What do you exactly mean by commercil intent?

Any way to project what AdWords CTR will be?
Hi All, I've just agreed to undertake an AdWords campaign for a client, and I was wondering if there was any competent way to project an estimate for what their CTR might be before the actual campaign begins? I do know that the average Google gave in 2012 was about 2%, although I've read that a diligent content marketer can certainly achieve double digits. I'm just trying to figure out how to roughly quantify what CTR might be for the client before we get started, and if there was a way to do that **per keyphrase **that would be so much the better. Does anyone have a formula they use? Any ideas? Thanks!

What's the best way to discover my business and search competitors?
I am trying to figure out who the real competitors are for the domain that I have been recently handed. Other than the client's references, which I don't think are the real competition (they are his benchmarks), how do I go about discovering the true competition? What the simplest, most effective way to go about discovering my business and search competitors? Given that this is a web portal, aren't both of the latter the same?

Fast way to extract admin email from blogs.
Could someone recommend a fast way to extract the admin email from blogs. Something that could potentially accept a CSV file extracted from opensiteexplorer. A lot of blogs obviously have this info hidden, but there must be a way to search/extract via a paid software or tool of some kind.

Determining why an established competitor's rankings have bombed - What's the best way to go about it?
I arrived at work this morning to find my weekly SEOmoz ranking report for a main competitor waiting in my inbox. 90% of the their rankings have tanked in the last day or so by an average of 3 pages - most down from page 1 or 2 where they had been sitting pretty for ages. I'm not in a state of (total) euphoria about this because a) you should be humble enough not to gloat at your enemy's demise, and b) I need to find out what they did wrong so that I don't make the same mistake, too. **What is your first suggested port of call to determine where my (vanquished) foe has gone wrong? How much can I find out? ** I do know one thing - with OSE I can see they've used dodgy blogging services but this, to my mind, would have been jumped upon by Google last year. No? Thanks guys

Hi, I would like to do some research and put together a post on the most powerful websites in my industry, and was wondering if you have any advice on how to calculate this - or if there is a tool available? Rather than making assumptions, I would like to try and be as accurate as possible. Thanks in advance for suggestions.
