I think I misunderstood - I thought you were reporting an issue with the MozBar, but it sounds like you are asking for advice on an issue that surfaced through the MozBar. I will let you guys figure it out from here!

RE: Multiple meta descriptions found - MozBar
Hello! A few questions:
- are you using version 2.63 of the MozBar?
- are you seeing this on any particular sites or pages?
- Which browser are you using?
I would be happy to test this end to see if I can replicate the issue!
Thanks,
Jon

RE: Subdomain Research Tool
Hey guys!
So I spoke to the MozScape team and right now this is not possible. Although in theory we have the data to answer this question, due to the sheer size of the dataset the engineering teams have to make data structure and optimization decisions that favor certain use cases (e.g. 'show me all of the external followed links for a root domain'). Currently MozScape is not optimized to answer the use case 'show me all of the subdomains on a given root domain'.
However, you may know we are working on index updates that are going to change the way we store data - this is a huge project, but once it is completed we will be able to run ad-hoc queries against our data, and solve use cases like this.
Hope this helps!

RE: Any Plans to Add More Complete Inbound Marketing Data (ie conversion tracking) to Moz Analytics?
Hi Ricky,
Thanks for the question!
Adding goals from GA has always been something we intend to do at some point. We just need to figure out a way to do it that doesn't duplicate GA and adds some extra data or value.
Would we ever add CRO functionality? Maybe one day, but for now we are focused on the top of the funnel - for example I don't see us adding Moz javascript snippets to the page any time soon to track user behaviour.
What would you find useful? Where are your pain points around measuring conversion?
Thanks,
Jon

RE: Subdomain Research Tool
Thanks Michael - great idea! I could see this fitting in the MozBar, maybe in OSE. Let me do some digging into how our index is structured and I will get an update back up here on feasibility.

RE: Mozbar and Firefox: Feedback please!
Hi Mike- yes, this would definitely be included.
Thanks!

RE: Mozbar and Firefox: Feedback please!
Thanks for feedback! Do you think you would stop using the toolbar completely? Or would you use it in Chrome?

RE: Moz bar issues? Does anyone else have them?
Hey! I am Product Owner for MozBar. Would love to help you get to the bottom of this.
Can you confirm you are version 2.63? And also - have you tried it in Firefox? Do you see the same issues?

RE: Quickest Way to Pro Campaigns after Log In?
Thanks Greg - this is really useful stuff. I will make sure this gets funneled to the right place. We may reach out directly for more context if that is ok?
Thanks!

RE: Quickest Way to Pro Campaigns after Log In?
Do you guys think there is anything we could do to make it easier for our customers to learn the new system?
-
RE: Quickest Way to Pro Campaigns after Log In?
Hey Christina / Gregory,
Sorry to hear that you guys are feeling frustrated. Have you tried Moz Analytics recently? Are there particular things that are you prefer in PRO that mean you prefer to use it over Moz Analytics? We are working really hard to get newer features out in MA and make it more useful to you than PRO, we would love to hear your feedback.
If you like you can email directly - you can find me at [email protected].
Thanks,
Jon

RE: Several issues moz analytics
Hi Auke,
I understand - we have added a credit to your account to make up for it - you will see this on your next statement. Thanks for your patience, we will be ready soon!

RE: Several issues moz analytics
Hi Auke,
-
I just had a look at your campaign, as it was created in Moz Analytics (not PRO) you do not have the option of navigating back to PRO. My apologies, I should have checked this before I gave you that suggestion. Custom Reports are being worked on right now by our engineering team. They are one of our highest priority items. I am unable to give you a date but I can assure you they are one of the in-progress things we are focusing on. You can see this priority list that Rand (sneakily) published last week as a guide to what we are working on https://plus.google.com/111294201325870406922/posts
-
I can confirm that I see ranking that are not appearing in the report, unless you have added the competitor I checked since the last crawl date, which seems unlikely considering the date of your post. This looks like a genuine bug - would you mind contacting [email protected]? I will give them a heads up. They are really good at diagnosing this stuff and have good visibility into trending bugs and issues

Great!
Thanks again Auke, sorry again for your inconvenience.

RE: Several issues moz analytics
Hi Auke,
Happy to help!
-
Branded Reports are coming soon in Moz Analytics, in the meantime you can create reports in PRO. This is a workaround while we put the finishing touches on the Custom Reports feature in Moz Analytics. Campaign data will be identical between MA and PRO, you can switch back to PRO by using the 'Back to PRO' link in the Moz Analytics UI. Let me know if I can help you out more here?
-
Do you have the URL to the campaign you are having issues with? If so I can help you out with diagnosing the issue
-
Claudio's answer is spot on - it is not an 'issue' - it is a 'notice' that we found a rel=canonical on the page - so it's all good and you don't need to do anything with the information! You are definitely no the first person to be confused by this, we are working on a better way to communicate it in the UI or app.
Hope these help - let me know the URL and I can do a deeper dive on the keyword rankings problem.
Thanks!

RE: Mozbar - SERP Control Panel - Export to CSV - Update
Hi Neil,
This one is still in progress, we are working on it and a couple of other issues to release.
Also, sometimes the Mozilla Plugins approval process can take some time. When we re-branded to Moz, it only took 1 day for the MozBar to update, in the last round of updates, it was closer to a month. This is out of our control but we will be sure to be transparent about the process when we release it. I don't know if you already follow @moz on twitter, but that is a good way to stay up to date with tool updates. I will also update this thread.
Thanks!

RE: How to view all 'followed internal links' on a page
Hey!
The MozBar allows you to see the followed links on the actual page itself. If you hit the Pencil icon, and choose 'Followed', the MozBar will overlay all followed links on a page with a highlight.
Does that solve you problem?
Thanks!

RE: Does Moz Analytics need Google Analytics installed?
Hi David!
Correct - if you wish to see traffic data, you will need to connect GA to each of your Moz Analytics campaigns.
If you do not have a GA account for each campaign, then you still be able to see other data and metrics about your campaign, for example links data, mentions, crawl data, and any social accounts you have connected.
If you have connected a GA account to your campaign and you are not seeing data appear, that might be a different issue. I would recommend disconnecting GA from the affected campaigns and then re-connecting. If this doesn't work then let our help team know and we can help you debug.
Thanks!

RE: MozBar in Chrome hides the top of the web page
Hi Christopher,
This is a known issue, we have a fix in place that allows you to move the toolbar to different places, but we know this is not perfect. The reason it functions differently to FF is Chrome treats extensions as part of the page (i.e. you 'inject' the HTML/CSS/Javascript) into the page, where an FF extensions get their own section of the header. This causes complexity when it comes to the 'injected' code interacting with the existing page, resulting in annoying issues like hidden pages, and javascript errors.
We have some ideas about how we want to address this in a future, for example, we have talked about having a more solid concept of on/off, perhaps activated by the browser extension button, and maybe a blacklist of sites that it would automatically turn off for (e.g. GMail, JIRA). Watch this space....
If you have any ideas I would love to hear them!

RE: Did the SERP Overlay CSV export disappear?
Hello!
We actually published 2.61 to Mozilla on July 1st. This fixes the issue. It is currently sitting in their approval queue (number 38 - so not long to go!).
Sorry for the delay, it should automatically update when it is approved.

RE: Did the SERP Overlay CSV export disappear?
We are working on it this week, there are a few issues we are fixing in the next release so we will bundle them all and publish together. Can't give an exact date but I am hoping by end of next week we will have it released, published and approved by Mozilla.

RE: Did the SERP Overlay CSV export disappear?
Hey! Thanks for the feedback, this is a known issue. We missed this during the testing for the rebrand but it is being worked on. Really sorry for the inconvenience!

RE: MOZ toolbar not recognising me as signed in
Wow!! Sorry to hear that. I will follow up this side and let you know if we have seen any similar issues.
On the MozBar - let me know how you get on with version 2.6.

RE: MOZ toolbar not recognising me as signed in
Hi Robb,
I am sorry - I did not see your reply to my response. Maybe you could re-post in this thread? Sorry you are having trouble.

RE: MOZ toolbar not recognising me as signed in
Hey Robb!
Have you updated to the latest version of the MozBar (version 2.60)? We updated the MozBar last week, including a change to authentication. Most browsers will automatically do this for you (typically on a restart) - but you may need to do this manually. We have published some instructions here http://moz.com/help/pro/mozbar
Let me know if this fixes the problem!
