Google Analytics: Deleted Profile
-
Has anyone ever successfully managed to have a deleted GA profile restored?
One of our client's profiles was deleted accidentally.
I know the official line is it can't be restored, but...

Let's just say there was something my, 'but...' assumption.
Official answer is no, unofficial may be different if you have friends in the right places (I personally don't, but I know a case where a deleted profile was restored.)

Do you have regular reporting process? If yes, Then please do following things
1. Analyze past trends, Make conclusion with consolidated changes, seasonality in data
2. Make summary Week Over Week, Month Over Month. Last Six Month would be ideal.
I think this is best you can do in this case.
If there was no such daily reporting. Then take it as oppurtunity & challange to redefine KPI's & Report formats.
Sometimes, Luck came in disguise

Why is Indeed.com traffic appearing as organic in Google Analytics?
A large number of sessions in my client's Google Analytics account appear to come from medium: organic and source:Indeed. Since I'm focused on SEO for this project, I'd prefer that Indeed be treated as referral traffic. Any ideas for fixing this issue? Also, and I'm sure the answer is no, is there a way to fix the past data in Google Analytics that has already reported Indeed as an organic medium?

Direct traffic spam on Google Analytics: how can you identify and filter it?
One of my smaller clients noticed a huge jump in direct traffic visits last month. The bounce rate was around 97% so I'm pretty certain that most of the traffic was illegitimate. I know how to filter out spam referrals and organic keywords in Google Analytics. However I'm not sure what to do about direct traffic spam. Are there recommendations for filtering this out? Can I identify spam IP addresses?

Tracking Referring Sources - Google Analytics - Ecommerce
I need some help from anyone that has deal with this issue before.. We are currently running BigCommerce for the shopping cart on chinamist.com. We have enabled e-commerce tracking through Google Analytics and the revenue tracks perfectly. The only issue is that the referring sources are not tracking directly to the revenue being displayed - for the source, all analytics shows is (none). The assumption is that the tracking issue is a result of having a domain and subdomain.. but 'domain and subdomain' was selected when setting up the sites' advanced analytics script. Does anyone have any tips? We've run into a dead end here.. One final note, we're running an Adwords campaign which is showing conversions through the Adwords side of reporting. After integrating the Adwords and Analytics accounts, the analaytics account is still not showing revenue/conversions from Adwords as a source. Appreciate the feedback.
