Using Linkedin Groups for Content Marketing
-
In my sector there are approximately 100 relevant groups that I could post content to. There are between 5 and 10 that would be relevant to any particular blog post.
How many groups should I post to? If I post to all relevant ones I can end up spamming due to overlapping group membership, If I don't I can miss out on access to a potentially large audience
What's best practice here?

Thanks Keri,
Usually we get a few hundred views which isn't bad for relatively technical engineering based post. Its worth bearing in mind and making sure that I am a better citizen than I might otherwise have been before I read this post

Tread carefully on LinkedIn. If one group puts you on moderation for self-promotional content, it can trigger moderation for your other groups, even if they never put you on moderation explicitly (see http://help.linkedin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/38735).
Do a little bit, and see if anyone actually reads what you post in the groups (by looking at the referral traffic in your analytics program). All too often, the groups are filled with everyone promoting their own posts, and nobody commenting on the posts or questions that other people have. You'll need to decide if LinkedIn is worth the time you spend on it.

Share on different times of the month. You'll have a hell of a time with that so either keep track of it or assign/outsource it.
A lot of people are using that on LinkedIN... so try to check the groups first. Groups that only have group members that share their own links arent that ideal in most cases as the members dont even bother to read the content.

The Rules Of A Facebook Group
Hi there, I'm currently looking to set up a Facebook Group for an Education Recruitment Business I am working with. We're setting up the Facebook group to foster a sense of community and collaboration with our current teachers. I'm currently in the process of drawing up a list of rules and regulations for our first group. The obvious ones are there such as no profanity, no spamming (can't stand spam - especially those fake Ray Ban ads!) but there I would really love some other group rule suggestions especially when it comes to users promoting our competition as education recruitment is a very competitive sector. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, James Miller - Digital Marketing Executive

Should OG tags be used on a websites homepage?
My current shopping cart uses OG tags on about 1/2 of all pages, it puts them on product pages and that about it. Would it be beneficial to have these tags on all pages? Thanks for your time.

Benefits and cons of hosting video content vs hosting via youtube
Hi if a site is hosting its own videos (not embedding them on youtube) is there less benefits then getting youtube to host it, and then embedding the youtube video. For instance: For benefits such as building channel authority, easy to rank the video in the search engines hosted on youtube, better opportunity to increase visitors and traffic and higher chance for the video to spread and rank for the keyword when hosted on youtube. What do you guys think?

What Facebook Content to Post
Hi, Our website is nlpca(dot)com facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-NLP-Coaching-Institute-of-California/187804434598142 They recently added facebook. I told them for posting on the wall to do the following: Identify your target audience, possible people to like us Identify what they really really are searching for on Facebook and the web, and give it to them. How could we improve on this strategy. At first my boss wanted to post article sinippits and links to the articles, but I told him to create facebook content with the above (1) and (2) strategy Your thoughts?
